The cottage is equipped with an elevator that goes to all floors. The elevator is great for groceries or wobbly knees.
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor each with a private bath and t.v.'s. Also on the first floor is the laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
The master bedroom features a king size bed with en-suite bathroom. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have a queen size bed.
The 2nd floor has a spacious family room w/ plenty of windows to let the morning light in, a fully stocked kitchen and a half bath.
The cottage has everything you need to get away, relax and create wonderful memories. Once you have enjoyed the charms of Shell Bar Cottage, we are sure you will be planning to come back again! The cottage has a deck off the family room which is a great spot for a morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine.
The Shell Bar cottage is located in the Coast Cottage neighborhood that has 2 ocean front pools with pavilion. The cottage is located within a short walk to the new World War II Homefront museum. Other sites to see on the island include the St. Simons Island Lighthouse, Christ Church and Fort Frederica National Park. The Island also has many wonderful restaurants to choose from.
The cottage is located just 200 steps from Coast Cottages 2 fabulous oceanside pools, pavilion and beach boardwalk. And, you will have private access to St. Simons Islands widest and best beach area with beach available at high and low tide.
You and your guests will have access to the 2 neighborhood pools. Details of the Heated Community Pool: The Coast Cottages heats one of the pools on weekends (Friday- Sunday) during cooler months and certain holidays (at no charge to guests) Thanksgiving, week of Christmas through New Years Day, the last week of March and first week of April (Spring Break). Any other days may be heated upon request for $50 per day.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $45.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
We require a refundable security deposit of $300.About the Owner
We live full time on Saint Simons Island and are readily available to assist you if needed. We love the live oaks, scenic marshes and of course the beach. We enjoy riding bikes, eating great seafood, kayaking and relaxing on the beach. The golf courses are beautiful. We have many wonderful memories with our family and friends on St Simons Island and we hope that you will come again and again and create your own memories.Location
